Castile Soap is one of my favourite refillable products I use in the home. It can come in the form of a bar of soap or in liquid form.
Castile soap is named after the Castile region of Spain and has stood the test of time. The original soap was primarily made from olive oil, but today it is made from a variety of vegetable oils. There are many outlets selling this soap online, but I prefer to get mine from my local re-fill shop. It can be used in the bath or shower. You can use it as a laundry cleaner, and to do a multitude of cleaning jobs around the home or business. I also use it as a hand wash. The liquid soap is very concentrated so to fill up my containers, I use 50% liquid soap, then when I get home, I top up with 50% water.
I prefer to use castile liquid. Try castile soap, and just use your common sense on how much water to add for the job in hand. It can be used for the following: For jobs around the house, sinks, floors, cupboards, bathrooms. It can also be used as a washing up liquid, as a shower get for adults and children. It can also be used to wash clothes. Most of the suggestions above are at your own discretion, but I would certainly encourage you to purchase some castile liquid soap from your local refill shop and find out for yourself how versatile this soap can be
